Covid 19 Health Precautions

We take your health, and ours seriously!

Only 1 session will be booked a day to ensure our tiny house is properly disinfected, aired out and thoroughly inspected before and after each treatment. There will be a designated bin for your clothing & personal items that will be sanitized between each appointment. We will not use a table warmer or additional padding so that the entire vinyl surface of the table can be sanitized between each client. As always, sheets are changed with each client and washed in sanitizing detergent.

If you wish, you may also bring your own sheets and blankets.
Reduce contact is offered with prepaying through our website, PayPal, Cash App or Venmo. Cash or checks can be accepted, however you will be asked to place it in our deposit box on site.

We will use Pure Green 24 on all surfaces clients and therapists come in contact with. Pure Green 24 is on the list of disinfectants that meets the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) and EPA criteria for use against the following pathogens: Coronavirus, MRSA, Staph, Norovirus, Enterovirus, Polio, E.coli, Salmonella & 2020 Flu Virus, SARS & Ebola. It is also hypoallergenic, nontoxic, non-corrosive, and cruelty free. All small items used, such as lotion bottles & holsters, essential oil bottles, and cell phones, will be sanitized in an ultraviolet sanitation cabinet. Therapists will use disposable or cloth face masks in session, and we recommend our clients do the same. If you do not have a mask, you may request a disposable one. You may request that your therapist use gloves, or you may choose to remain clothed for your session.
Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

In consideration for providing Massage Therapy Services, I agree to accept all responsibility for the risk that I may contract COVID-19. I understand that Laureen Anderson is taking my safety, very seriously by implementing new safety and sanitation initiatives, however it is not guaranteed that these initiatives will completely protect me from contracting COVID-19.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration for receiving massage therapy services, should I contract COVID-19, I agree to indemnify and hold Bodywork by Laureen and Laureen Anderson, all their staff members, property managers harmless from any and all claims for damages. I further agree that I will not file, nor cause to be filed, nor participate in any lawsuit against Bodywork by Laureen or Laureen Anderson or its associates for anything that happens regarding my health should I contract COVID-19. I acknowledge that I am free to go to other massage therapy practices who may not require my agreement to accept responsibility for contracting COVID-19 and I choose to receive Massage Therapy services at various locations or in East Atlanta Tiny House Massage studio .
